Saying yes to the sleepover is the easy part.

Inventing & hosting it is not.

Planning a themed night means inventing the activities, the timings, the food and a running order that holds the attention of children for fourteen hours.

Making it feel like one magical night — rather than a few good moments strung together — is where it gets hard.

Children describe these nights for years afterwards. It's worth the night holding together.

THE NIGHT, ALREADY THOUGHT THROUGH,

Everything that could go wrong has already been thought about.

  • You will never be standing in the kitchen at 9pm wondering what to do with them next.

  • When someone wants to go home at 11pm, you already know what to say.

  • You will know about every allergy before the first guest walks in — not when someone is already holding the cupcake.

  • No awkward message to another parent asking whether you can post the photo.

  • The child who needs ten minutes away from the noise has somewhere to go, and does not have to explain why.

  • The night has room to breathe. Nobody is herded from one thing to the next.

  • The quiet one gets called up too, for being exactly who they are.

  • If something does not suit your family, you can change the wording yourself.

  • The eight-year-old is not bored, and the twelve-year-old is not talked down to.

  • Short on time? There is a shorter version of the night that still lands.

What you actually get

What makes it different.

Half past eight

The moment the room goes quiet.

Every experience builds towards one sealed envelope that nobody is allowed to open until half past eight. The lamps go low. Someone turns the big light off without being asked. The child whose night it is holds the envelope, and everybody else stops moving.

Then it opens, and six children lean over one page at the same time. For about twenty seconds nobody says anything at all. That is the part they describe to their teacher on Monday, and the part you will still be able to picture in ten years.

A personalized Enchanted Forest Adventure letter addressed to a child by name, telling her a moonlit forest sleepover is being prepared just for her, with secret missions, glowing surprises and magical keepsakes.

How it works

01

Choose the experience

Pick the kind of night that sounds like them.

02

Tell us about them

A short, friendly questionnaire about the child (or children), their guests and how the night should feel.

03

Their letter, then their night

Within 24 hours we email you a personalized letter to print and give them; the full night follows within 7 days.

Nothing exists until you order it — the whole night is written around your child, then emailed to you to print at home. Your 7 days begin when your details arrive, since that is when we start building the night.

Why us

We have hosted the 9pm silence too.

We started this because we kept watching lovely, generous hosts spend the night on their feet — inventing the next thing, refereeing the one that went wrong, and missing the bit they had actually been looking forward to. Writing the night in advance is the only thing that fixes that. So we write it, for one child, by name, and you get to be in the room for it.

If we get it wrong, you do not pay.

  • Full refund any time before your child's letter goes out.

  • If we miss our delivery window, you get a full refund and we send you the finished experience anyway.

  • One correction round included — a misspelled name, a wrong age, a date that changed.

Full policy is at /refunds.

How the night actually goes.

The guests arrive and something is already waiting for each of them, with their own name on it. The first hour looks after itself. When the energy climbs too high you know exactly what comes next, and when it drops you know that too. Nobody asks what you are doing later, because everyone can feel that the night is going somewhere.

By half past eight the room is quiet and leaning over one page. By midnight they are whispering about the bit that surprised them. And you are on the sofa with them, watching it happen — in the room, rather than in the kitchen inventing the next thing.

A night built from a dozen browser tabs will still be a good night — children are generous like that. It is just harder to make it feel like one story rather than a run of separate ideas, and the person who assembled it usually ends up running the evening instead of being in it. That is the only real difference.

Who this is for

For parents

A memorable party without having to invent every activity, sign, snack idea, schedule, and surprise yourself. You get to be in the room enjoying it, instead of in the kitchen inventing the next thing.

For grandparents

A meaningful way to turn a weekend visit, birthday celebration, cousin sleepover, or special overnight into a memory they will always associate with you.

Our story

A little colorful chaos, a lot of joy.

Party & Pillow began around an idea to make party planning simple for parents, and one very purple vase full of flowers. We create personalized experiences for kids who want their sleepovers to feel like a party, and for parents who want it easy.
